Doreen Chadwick has been a firm favourite on the Theatre Organ concert scene for over 60 years, Originating from the Welsh Valleys, Doreen was advised by the legendary Reginald Foort to take up the Theatre Organ as her chosen career. After starting work with the Granada circuit, Doreen later switched to the ABC chain of cinemas, being based at the Ritz, Richmond.

Doreen has no less than 200 live broadcasts to her credit, along with countless concert appearances both in this country and abroad. Following the demise of the Theatre Organ as a regular feature in many cinema's throughout the U.K., Doreen settled in Oldham, where together with her husband Len, became mine host at The Magnet Hotel, where of course patrons were entertained by Doreen playing the Hammond C3.

Doreen was delighted to accept the positron of Vice-President of the Lancastrian Theatre Organ Trust, following a long-standing association and interest in its well being. Sadly, it is expected that this recording will be Doreen's last and following a lengthy and successful career, it is fitting that this recording has been made on the very same instrument on which she made her first LP in 1972.
